CoinPop brings five crypto prices and USDT-based price gaps into one compact popup. Compare Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, Solana (SOL) and Dogecoin (DOGE) on Upbit and Binance. Upbit's KRW-USDT market price is used to convert Binance's USDT quotes into KRW. FEATURES • Five-coin price comparison, with a clear conversion basis. • Automatic refresh every 15 seconds while the popup is open and visible, plus manual refresh. • Toolbar badge for your selected coin's price gap: red for positive, blue for negative. • Optional upper and lower price gap alerts for each coin. Alerts are off by default and request notification permission when enabled. • A 30-minute minimum interval for repeated alerts on the same coin and condition, including repeated crossings. • System, light and dark themes; preferences saved on your device. • Unexpired previous prices remain visible with a warning if a refresh fails. Expired prices are hidden. • English interface, settings, toolbar descriptions and notification messages. • CoinPop Tools shortcuts: fee comparison, average entry and breakeven, profit and loss, and position size. Each opens the matching website calculator in a new tab. BADGE AND BACKGROUND UPDATES The badge is on by default. When the badge or permitted alerts are enabled, public prices refresh about once a minute even with the popup closed. Turning both off stops periodic background requests. Sleep, network conditions and Chrome or OS settings may delay updates and notifications. Badge expiry handling may also be delayed by Chrome's scheduling. CALCULATION AND LIMITS Price gap (%) = [Upbit KRW price / (Binance USDT price × Upbit KRW-USDT price) − 1] × 100. This USDT-based comparison can differ from a kimchi premium calculated with the USD/KRW exchange rate. Exchange prices are not simultaneous trades. If quote time cannot be independently verified, the popup marks the relative timestamp basis and does not send alerts for that snapshot. Not investment advice. Trading fees, transfer costs and deposit/withdrawal restrictions are excluded. CoinPop does not place orders, hold assets or connect to exchange accounts. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS No registration or exchange API key is required. Coin, theme, refresh, badge and alert preferences, plus minimal alert deduplication records, stay in local Chrome storage. Current quotes and retry state are temporarily shared through Chrome session storage; no accumulated price history is kept. The extension does not send your preferences or usage history to a CoinPop collection server, read browsing history or webpage contents, or include analytics code.
