Let Haarness agents use Chrome — with your permission.

Haarness connects your AI agents to the Chrome browser you already use, with your existing sign-ins and visible tab groups. Requires Haarness Desktop or the Haarness CLI on the same computer. This extension is a companion to Haarness; it is not a standalone AI chat service. Download Haarness at https://haarness.ai/download/. WORK IN YOUR OWN CHROME Ask a Haarness agent to research a topic, compare information across sites, read documentation, or help with a browser task. On approved sites, the agent can read page content, click, type, navigate, capture screenshots, and work with downloads and uploads when permitted. SEE WHAT EACH CHAT IS DOING Each chat works in its own tab group. Open the Haarness toolbar button to see active chats and their tab counts, show a chat's tabs, stop a task, or close agent tabs. Move a tab out of the agent's group to take it back. STAY IN CONTROL Haarness provides per-chat approval requests for site access and page scripts. You can allow or deny supported requests from the toolbar popup. Pause browser access with one switch. Chrome also displays its debugger notification while Haarness is controlling tabs. CONNECT ONCE Install Haarness, register its Chrome connection, and open a project in Haarness Desktop, the terminal UI, or the CLI. HOW YOUR DATA IS USED The extension communicates with Haarness on your computer through Chrome native messaging. Page text, URLs, screenshots and other results needed for your task can be passed to Haarness and included in requests to the AI provider configured in Haarness. Sensitive information may be present on pages you authorize. Local browser connection does not mean that all task data stays on your device. The extension does not add advertising or independent analytics tracking. The extension is free to install. AI provider usage and optional Haarness Cloud services may have separate costs.
