Codeo adds reliable copy and download buttons to the code blocks in AI chat replies. Works on claude.ai, chatgpt.com, and gemini.google.com. How it works • A copy button appears on each finished code block. If the browser blocks copying, Codeo selects the text for you and shows a message to press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C on a Mac) • Download any block as a file. Codeo picks the file extension from the block's language, with .txt as the fallback • Filenames can use the name the reply gives the file. Or choose a pattern: snippet, language, or timestamp • On replies with two or more code blocks, "Copy all" joins them with a filename comment before each, and "Download all" saves the whole reply as one .zip. Folder paths such as src/app.tsx are kept inside the zip, up to 60 blocks per zip • If creating the zip fails, Codeo downloads the files one by one instead • Codeo waits until a block has finished generating before adding buttons, so you never copy half a file • Copied code is cleaned of invisible characters and trailing spaces • The buttons take on each site's colors • Choose in the toolbar popup whether to show the download button and the batch bar, pick the filename pattern, and turn on "Ask where to save." A Restore defaults button resets everything Privacy Codeo reads only the code blocks in replies, and only on the three sites above. It does not read your prompts, your chat history, or any other website. The code is held in memory only while you copy or save it. Codeo stores five settings in your browser and nothing else.
