CodeCoach is an AI-powered coding practice assistant that helps you actually learn, not just copy answers. Open the side panel on any LeetCode or Programmers problem and get contextual help that matches where you are in your thinking. PROGRESSIVE AI HINTS Choose your hint level before asking: • Light hint: nudges your thinking without revealing the approach • Direction hint: points you toward the right algorithm or data structure • Specific hint: gives a concrete next step, still no full solution The model is instructed never to return complete answer code. WRONG-ANSWER NOTES: When you get a wrong answer, generate a structured study note in one click. Notes cover what went wrong, the key insight you missed, and what to review. Save them locally, export as Markdown, or copy to clipboard. CODE TOOLS • Line explainer: select any lines in your editor and get a plain-English explanation • Code analyzer: get a full review of your approach and complexity • Debug assistant: paste an error or failing test case and walk through it • Next-line hint: get a suggestion for your next line when you're stuck mid-solution WEAKNESS TRACKING CodeCoach automatically tags every hint with problem type, algorithm category, and caution points. Over time the History tab shows your recurring weak spots so you know exactly what to study next. REVIEW PLANNER Problems you struggled with are automatically scheduled for spaced-repetition review. The review queue tells you what to revisit today, tomorrow, or next week. PRACTICE TIMER Set a time limit for each problem. When time is up, you’ll receive a notification so you can practice solving problems under real test conditions. HISTORY & SNAPSHOTS Every submission is auto-saved with pass/fail status and your codes. Search, filter, sort, and bookmark problems. Export your full study history as Markdown. OPTIONAL CLOUD SYNC Sign in with Google to sync hint events and review metadata across devices. Saved code and notes stay local only. BRING YOUR OWN API KEY CodeCoach uses your own OpenAI API key. Requests go directly from your browser to OpenAI — no CodeCoach server sees your code or questions. Only pay for what you use. Most practice sessions cost just a few cents, depending on problem length and usage. SUPPORTED PLATFORMS • LeetCode (leetcode.com) • Programmers (programmers.co.kr, school.programmers.co.kr) PRIVACY CodeCoach runs only on supported coding-practice pages such as LeetCode and Programmers. It reads visible problem context, your current editor code, selected text, visible run/submission results, and your typed questions only to provide coding-practice features such as AI hints, code analysis, debugging help, wrong-answer notes, local history, and weakness tracking. Your OpenAI API key, saved wrong-answer notes, saved code snapshots, settings, and local study history are stored locally in your browser using Chrome extension storage. When you request AI help, CodeCoach may send your typed question, current editor code, selected text, visible problem context, and run/error output directly from your browser to OpenAI using your own API key. CodeCoach does not operate a separate backend server for OpenAI requests. Optional Google sign-in and cloud sync use Google/Firebase only for authentication and syncing learning metadata such as hint events, weakness categories, review schedules, problem identifiers, platform names, languages, and timestamps. Saved code snapshots and wrong-answer note bodies stay local unless a future version clearly discloses otherwise. CodeCoach does not sell user data, does not use user data for advertising, and does not access unsupported websites.
