Instead of generating an answer first, CodeCoach provides progressive, context-aware hints based on the problem and your current code. Start with a small nudge, ask for deeper guidance when you need it, and use code review and debugging feedback to understand where your approach can improve. Your request, including relevant problem and code context, is sent through the CodeCoach backend to OpenAI to generate the response. • Bring Your Own Key — You can provide your own OpenAI API key. In this mode, AI requests are sent directly from the extension to OpenAI. Your OpenAI API key is stored locally in your browser. Learning notes, coding history, and weakness tracking data are also kept locally by default. CodeCoach is designed to help you improve the way you solve coding problems, not simply generate complete answers for you.
