Doesn't seem to log interactions with Javascript

This is a very helpful extension, but I was hoping it would log interactions with dynamic elements on the page. Things added with Javascript, such as a select2 dropdown does not write an action to the test.

I NEED THIS EXTENSION JUST TO CLICK OR TO EXECUTE 'ENTER ACTION' ON A BUTTON. CAN IT DO IT AND CAN LOOP OR REPLAY?

Some options not available

I am trying to use the codeception testtools but there are some features in the screenshot that I can't get access to. For example, I can't "see", I can only get click, amonpage and seecurrenturl. Also, the the options menu is greyed out.
