Count lines in code files and folders, support multiple programming languages
This is a 100% local, secure code line counter for developers. It has NO backend server and makes NO network requests (No fetch/XHR). ### 1. How to Test 1. Click the extension icon to open the popup. 2. Single File: Drag and drop a code file (.js, .py, etc.) into the zone. It instantly shows total, code, comment, and blank lines. 3. Folder Scan: Click "Select Folder" and choose a local code directory. It will recursively count lines and list the top 10 largest files. 4. Filtering: It automatically excludes "node_modules", ".git", and "dist" by default. ### 2. Security & Code Transparency - 100% Local: All file reading and parsing are done in the local browser memory. User source code never leaves their machine. - No Obfuscation: All JavaScript code is completely unminified, non-obfuscated, and human-readable for easy line-by-line review. - Manifest V3: No high-risk permissions requested. No dynamic code execution (No eval).
