This extension configures the browser for cobas infinity IT solutions

The navify® Lab Operations extension for Chrome is required to work with navify® Lab Operations. The extension automatically configures the necessary settings to avoid any issues caused by browser restrictions. The extension enables the following permissions for the navify Lab Operations domain specified by the Roche Service Representative. - Cookies: The extension uses session-only cookies to know about the user and to keep the session active. The cookies are also needed to keep the user preferences in the session, which are used for the default access for some screens. - The cookies are removed when the browser is closed. This makes the browser more secure. - Images: The extension uses images for the visualization purposes. It is required in some of the tests that are linked to images. - Popups: The extension uses popups to manage specific steps, actions and risk control measures such as warnings for patient safety. - JavaScript: The extension uses JavaScript for some automatic (dynamic) options such as to activate buttons. - Clear Cache: The extension clears the cache to remove the old cached versions and to ensure that only the current and new javascript files and images are used. - Open and close tabs: The extension also helps to open the application in full screen mode in a single tab and to close the unrequired tab. It is also recommended to whitelist the navify Lab Operations server IP address and hostname/DNS. This ensures the extension is activated only on the navify Lab Operations server.
