Coauth is a team password manager that shares passkeys as well as passwords, end to end encrypted, and it is zero-knowledge: your passwords, passkeys and notes reach our servers only as ciphertext. It saves your website logins, fills them in for you, generates strong passwords, and does the one thing nothing else does well: it lets you SHARE a login, a password or a passkey, with a team, fully encrypted, so a shared account works for everyone without passing secrets around in chat. Log in or sign up (Google, or a one-time code by email) to save more, sync across your devices, or share with a team. WHAT IT DOES • Save passwords as you log in and autofill them on your next visit. On sign-up forms Coauth offers a strong generated password and fills it in for you. • Create and use passkeys on any site that supports them. Coauth is a software authenticator, so its passkeys can be shared (unlike a fingerprint passkey locked to one device). • Share a login with a teammate by email, with no team to set up first. They get a link, Coauth does the rest, and the login is ready to use the moment they join. No password goes through chat or email. • Change a shared password once and every teammate gets the new one. • Coauth asks before adding someone to a team that already holds other people's logins, and shows who will see what. • Keep secure notes in the same encrypted vault. • Run a security health scan that flags weak, reused, and old passwords right on your device. • Keep two-factor (TOTP) codes in the same encrypted vault, filled in for you on 2FA fields (Pro). • Manage everything in a full dashboard or a quick popup: one vault for passwords, passkeys, and notes, plus teams, roles, invites, and an activity log. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT • Purpose-built for SHARED logins, with roles, email invites, and revocation: removing a member rotates the team key and re-encrypts the shared items, so they cannot open anything shared from then on. Change the passwords they already used, as with any shared login. • Zero-knowledge. You unlock with a vault password, Windows Hello or Touch ID, or a recovery key only you hold, all processed on your device. Passwords, passkeys and notes are encrypted with audited cryptography (libsodium) before they sync, so the server can never read them. Site names and usernames stay readable so the right login appears on the right site. • A breach exposes only encrypted data. If you use a vault password, it is the one thing an attacker could try to guess, so Coauth refuses weak ones and slows every guess down. • Nothing to pass around. No exported password in a chat, no shared spreadsheet of logins. HOW IT WORKS Install and pick a vault password. That is the whole setup, and it works on every device. If your device has Windows Hello or Touch ID you can add one-touch unlock on top. You also get a recovery key, kept for the day you forget the password. No account for your first 3 passwords. Log in on a site and Coauth offers to save it. Or add one manually with the generator. Next visit, click the Coauth suggestion to autofill. Bring the passwords you already have: export them from Chrome, 1Password, Bitwarden or LastPass and import the file. A free account removes the limit and adds sync across your devices and team sharing. • Coauth can only share passkeys it created. A passkey already registered with your fingerprint or a security key cannot be exported (that is how passkeys work). Add a new one through Coauth to share it. • Every passkey prompt from Coauth offers "Use this device instead", so your Windows Hello, phone or security key is always one click away. Settings can also pause Coauth for an hour. One passkey extension can be active at a time.
