Overview
Compare certificate of analysis values against your specification limits and scale a production batch in your browser.
Reading a certificate of analysis (COA) and checking it against your specification is fiddly: the numbers are scattered across a PDF, your limits are in a spreadsheet, and the units never seem to line up. COA Spec Checker turns a lab report into a plain pass/fail review, right in a popup. How it works: 1. Paste the values from your COA, one per line — e.g. "Purity: 98.7%", "Lead (Pb): 0.4 ppm". 2. Set your specification limits — for each analyte, pick a minimum or maximum limit and a unit. 3. Review every value at a glance: PASS or FAIL with the margin, UNCERTAIN when a value is reported below detection, NO LIMIT when a value has no limit set, and NOT MEASURED when a limit has no value on the report. Also included: - Unit conversion (mg, g, mcg) when measuring and limits use different mass units. - A batch calculator that scales an ingredient amount per serving to a full production batch and adjusts it for the purity shown on the COA. Copy the result in one click. - Limits and recent inputs are remembered locally. Nothing you paste is sent anywhere: no account, no analytics, no network calls, no tracking. All parsing and calculation happen inside the extension popup. It does not provide dosing, medical, or safety guidance. Single purpose: compare lab report values against your own specification limits and scale a batch.
