Opening a brokerage account means a long, technical form. Co-fill Assistant turns it into a conversation. Answer plain questions in English or Spanish and the extension fills Interactive Brokers' account application in your Chrome, field by field, checking the results. Ask what a term means and the chat explains it before you answer. Passwords, verification codes, signatures and final submission remain yours. The extension never brings tabs or windows forward, so you can keep working elsewhere. It works only on supported Interactive Brokers application pages. Chrome displays a debugging notification while it is attached; canceling that notification stops it. All extension code is packaged locally. The companion app sends data commands, not JavaScript. You need the Co-fill companion app running on your own computer and an OpenRouter API key. Installing the extension alone does not start the chat. This release connects to localhost and is a local pilot, not a standalone hosted service. AI and privacy: the companion app sends relevant answers and form context to AI providers through OpenRouter. Optional ID uploads send the entire image for AI extraction. Ordinary answers and completed transcripts can remain on your computer until deleted.
