GKS Write is an all-in-one research writing assistant. Capture references, draft your manuscript or research proposal, write the cover letter, answer reviewers, and evaluate proposals, all in one place. Your draft is built from the references you chose, so your reading and your writing stay connected from the first citation to the final submission letter. CAPTURE REFERENCES Click the toolbar icon on a journal article or database page and the title, authors, journal, year, DOI and abstract are saved to your own library. You can also add references by DOI or import them from BibTeX or RIS files, then search, annotate and flag weak citations. DRAFT A MANUSCRIPT OR RESEARCH PROPOSAL Select your references, describe your topic, and generate a structured draft that cites them. It works for articles, reviews, case reports and proposals. Paste your target journal's instructions or set word limits, and live counters show whether you are within them. Citations follow the style your journal requires. EDIT IN ONE PLACE A built-in editor lets you insert citations from your library, renumber them automatically, check spelling, track versions and download your work as Word, PDF or text. COVER LETTERS, REVIEWER REPLIES AND EVALUATIONS Write a cover letter from a few details, draft a point-by-point response to reviewers' comments, or prepare an evaluation report for a proposal, manuscript or budget. Every draft is editable, and your own lines are kept exactly as you wrote them. CHECK BEFORE YOU SUBMIT See your outline, find references that are never cited, and track journal word limits without using AI. WRITE WITH CO-AUTHORS Send a collaboration pack to a co-author. Their edits come back in colour, and you accept or reject each change. PRIVACY Your library, drafts and settings are stored in your browser. To generate text, the content you submit is sent to the AI service you choose, using your own key, or to the GKS Write service on the free and Pro plans. Check your funder's and journal's confidentiality rules before pasting confidential material. AI can make mistakes. Check every statement and citation before you submit.
