Screenshot Redact by Oxagile
Overview
Capture any page, drag boxes over faces, names, and emails, then blur or pixelate them. Fully local — nothing leaves your browser.
Screenshot Redact lets you hide sensitive details in a screenshot before you share it faces, names, email addresses, account numbers, anything you don't want in a bug report, slide deck or support ticket. HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the Screenshot Redact icon on any web page. The visible part of the page is captured. 2. Drag boxes over anything you want hidden. 3. Choose Pixelate or Blur and adjust the strength. 4. Click Download PNG. FEATURES - Pixelate or blur, with adjustable strength - Draw as many redaction boxes as you need - Undo and Clear all - One-click PNG export PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything happens locally in your browser. No uploads, no servers, no accounts, no analytics. The extension makes no network requests at all. Redactions are baked into the image pixels, not placed as a removable layer on top. Nobody can lift them off the exported file to see what's underneath. MINIMAL PERMISSIONS - activeTab: captures the current tab only when you click the icon - storage: hands the capture to the editor in temporary memory; nothing is saved NOTE Chrome doesn't allow extensions to capture its internal pages (chrome://) or the Chrome Web Store. Open a regular web page and it works. Built for Oxagile, a software development company working in computer vision and video analytics: https://www.oxagile.com/
