Turn the AI conversation you're reading into an offline file you'll actually want to reopen. ConvoArk reads the conversation you have open and saves it on your computer as one HTML file that opens without internet, reads cleanly, is searchable and keeps interactive content clickable. You can also export it as Markdown or PDF, and choose which messages to keep. All features are currently free, with no usage limits. WHAT GETS SAVED • Text, headings, lists, tables and code blocks • Images, saved as the original when readable, otherwise as shown on the page • Thinking and search steps • Citations saved with their source links; any link that can't be found is noted • Gemini interactive modules: once you allow reading them, still clickable offline, step by step and full screen CHOOSE WHAT TO KEEP • "Choose messages to save…" opens a panel listing each message with its round number, length and a short excerpt • A prompt and its reply can be ticked separately; filter by keyword, select a range, preview your selection • Saved rounds keep their original numbers, so you can match them with the original conversation • Your selection is not remembered: the next save starts fresh THREE FORMATS • HTML: one offline file with images, code, math and citations; interactive content stays clickable • Markdown: one .md file for editing as text. Embedded images become a short note, Artifacts become a code block with their latest version, interactive modules become one line with their title, and citations become footnotes with their original links. Images that were not saved but have a web address become image links; some Markdown readers load these when opening the file • PDF: ConvoArk lays out the conversation on its own print page and opens Chrome's print window, where you choose "Save as PDF". Interactive modules appear as the picture taken when saving • Each saved file carries a small ConvoArk mark: one line at the end of HTML and Markdown files, and the name on the PDF cover and in the page footer next to the page numbers. It never covers your conversation, and there are no ads or QR codes BUILT FOR READING • An outline built from your own questions, with each answer's headings underneath • A Contents tab listing every interactive module, code block, table and image • A Sources tab with every citation, grouped by site • Full-text search with every match highlighted • Light, dark or system theme, plus font, size and width settings • Works on phones and prints cleanly HONEST ABOUT GAPS After every save you see how much was saved: how many messages, images and citations, what couldn't be captured and why, and how to fill it in next time. Each save also checks that the conversation was saved continuously from the first message to the last, with nothing twice (on Claude, also the number and order of prompts); if something doesn't add up, you get a clear warning instead of "No gaps found". The saved file opens with the same summary. IN YOUR LANGUAGE The popup and the selection panel come in English, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. They follow your browser's language, and you can switch in the popup. Conversations are never translated. STAYS ON YOUR COMPUTER • Your chats are never uploaded • Markdown and PDF are made locally in your browser and need no extra permission • No account, no server, no analytics; no personal data is collected or sold • Opening a saved HTML file makes no network requests, online or offline; a web page opens in a new tab only when you click a link or a module button that opens one • Requests made while saving never add conversation text: downloading images in the chat; saving the source site icons shown on the page (icons from Google's icon service are never requested and always show as a letter icon), with a letter icon when one can't be read; on Claude, reading the current conversation through Claude's own read-only interface; and downloading public code libraries and fonts that interactive content uses, so it works offline. The addresses requested come from the chat (such as image addresses and cited sites' domains), so those sites can see them. The privacy policy lists every request • Saved files hold the original chat address and everything saved, so check before you share one HOW TO USE 1. Open a ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini conversation 2. Click the ConvoArk icon in the toolbar and pick a format under "Format": HTML, Markdown or PDF 3. Click "Save as offline file" ("Save as Markdown" or "Save as PDF" for the other formats), or "Choose messages to save…" to keep only some messages Requires Chrome 141 or later on a computer. The page reloads once before saving so everything can be expanded. Send or copy anything typed in the message box first. ChatGPT Temporary Chats can't be saved, because they disappear when the page reloads; the popup tells you so.
