Overview
Save pages, selections, screenshots and files to your Clypse library
Save something while you still remember why it matters. Clypse turns a page, selected passage, screenshot, link, thought, or local file into a note — without copying material between tabs. Use the extension to: • save a page, link, article, or selected passage; • capture the visible area, a selected area, or the full page; • add images, PDFs, and files from your computer; • combine text and several sources in one note; • process the material with AI or save it as is; • find recent notes without leaving the browser; • read the full note in the browser side panel; • open any note for editing in the Clypse web application. Clypse keeps up to five drafts in the browser. If the connection drops, the browser closes, or a large upload is interrupted, the capture remains in Queue and can continue later. Queue content is kept for no more than 30 days. The extension does not request permanent access to every website during installation. Optional website access is used only for the selection toolbar and can be declined or revoked at any time. Core toolbar, context-menu, and active-tab capture remain available without it. Connected browsers can be managed from the Clypse profile. Users can review active devices, disconnect one browser, or revoke every extension session. A Clypse account is required. Chrome 116 or newer is supported on Windows and macOS.
