Overview

Real-time performance overlay for cloud gaming platforms. Monitor FPS, latency, resolution, and more.

Know exactly what your connection is doing while you play. CloudMetrics is a lightweight performance overlay built specifically for cloud gaming. The moment you launch a game a clean HUD appears on screen showing you the metrics that actually matter: FPS, ping, dropped frames, resolution, and more updated in real time without ever interrupting your gaming session. Why cloud gaming needs this... Cloud gaming is uniquely dependent on your network. Unlike local gaming where performance is mostly a hardware question, cloud gaming lives and dies by your connection quality. A 20ms ping spike, a dropped frame rate, or a resolution downgrade can ruin a session and without visibility into what's happening, you're left guessing whether it's your ISP, your router, or the platform itself. CloudMetrics gives you that visibility. What it shows you: FPS — live frame rate read directly from the video stream, color-coded green/yellow/red so you know at a glance if your session is running smoothly Ping — round-trip latency to the platform server, measured continuously throughout your session Jitter — variation in your ping over time; a reliable indicator of connection instability even when average latency looks fine Stream Resolution — the actual pixel resolution being delivered to your browser, so you know when the platform has downscaled your stream Dropped Frames — cumulative and percentage, so you can spot buffering events the moment they happen Bandwidth — estimated throughput from your connection to the platform Buffer Health — how much stream is buffered ahead, giving you advance warning before stutters hit Decode Time — how long your browser is taking to decode each frame, useful for diagnosing local CPU bottlenecks CloudMetrics is designed to stay out of your way. Every part of the overlay is configurable from the extension popup: Choose which metrics you want visible — show only what matters to you Drag the overlay to any position on screen and it remembers where you left it Adjust background color, accent color, and text color to match your setup Control opacity from nearly invisible to fully opaque Change font size for readability at any screen size or viewing distance Switch to compact mode for a minimal single-column display that takes up less screen real estate.
