Overview The Tax & Compliance Auto-Login Assistant is a productivity tool designed specifically for Chartered Accountants (CAs) and Tax Professionals in India. It functions as a secure bridge between our proprietary practice management platform (CA Desk / Cloudatahub) and various official government compliance portals. Key Features: Seamless Redirection: Automatically redirects users from their dashboard to the specific government portal required for the client's task (e.g., e-Filing Income Tax, GST Portal, MCA V3, TRACES). Secure Autofill: Safely fills in client login credentials (User ID and Password) on the target government portal, eliminating manual data entry and reducing errors. Clipboard Fallback: For portals with complex security (like MCA V3), the extension offers smart clipboard assistance to facilitate quick login. Multi-Portal Support: Works strictly with Income Tax India, GST, MCA (ROC), and TDS (TRACES) websites. How It Works: The user selects a client and task within our web-based practice management software. The extension detects the request and redirects the browser to the official government URL. Upon arrival, the extension securely retrieves the specific temporary credentials from the source tab and populates the login fields automatically. The user completes the login (entering Captchas manually) to proceed with their compliance work. Privacy & Security: No Permanent Storage: This extension does not permanently store any passwords or user data. Credentials are held in volatile memory only for the duration of the login attempt. Restricted Access: The extension only accepts messages and credentials from our verified domains (cloudatahub.com / ca-desk-modified.vercel.app) as specified in the manifest.
