CLOKR — AI Privacy Shield
Overview
Masks sensitive data (emails, IBANs, tax codes, cards) before reaching AI chatbots. 100% local processing.
CLOKR — AI Privacy Shield is a Chrome extension that helps protect your privacy when using AI chat tools. It detects sensitive data patterns in what you type and replaces them with secure placeholders before the message is sent to external servers (example: mario.rossi@gmail.com → [EMAIL_1]). This helps reduce the risk of accidentally sharing personal information. Protected data types (now with advanced algorithmic validation): Email addresses Phone numbers Italian tax codes (Codice Fiscale - verified via checksum) IBAN numbers (verified via MOD-97) Credit Cards (verified via Luhn algorithm) IP Addresses (IPv4 & IPv6) Dates of Birth Italian Health Cards (Tessera Sanitaria) Key points: Local processing in your browser No telemetry and no data collection Open source: https://github.com/progetticyber/clokr-extension What's new in v2: We added support for more data types (Credit Cards, IPs, Dates of Birth) and implemented advanced checksum validations to drastically reduce false positives. The extension is now even more secure and requires fewer permissions. After you install it, you can keep chatting normally while CLOKR masks sensitive details in real time.
