Masks emails, phone numbers, cards, IDs, API keys and client names before they reach your AI chat assistant. Runs locally.

Cloakshot Prompt keeps customer data out of your AI chats. Paste or type as usual. When a paste or a message contains sensitive data, Cloakshot Prompt stops it before it is sent and offers to mask it: values become stable placeholders like [EMAIL_1] or [CARD_1]. The assistant still understands the request — it just never sees the real values. Copy the answer and the originals come back, on your device only. WHAT IT DETECTS • Email addresses • Phone numbers (international formats) • Credit and debit card numbers (validated with Luhn and issuer prefixes) • Brazilian CPF and CNPJ (with check digits) • US Social Security numbers • IBAN bank accounts (mod-97 validated) • API keys, access tokens, JWTs, bearer tokens and private-key blocks • password= / token= / api_key= values in logs and config text • IPv4 and IPv6 addresses • Money amounts (optional) • Your own protected words (client names, people, codenames) and custom patterns (Pro) THREE MODES, PER SITE Ask: a small dialog lists what was found; send masked, send as is, or cancel. Auto-mask: masks silently and shows a brief notice. Off: leaves a site alone. REVERSIBLE PLACEHOLDERS The same value always gets the same placeholder, so a whole conversation stays coherent. Copy text containing placeholders and they turn back into the originals. "Reveal originals" restores the whole page. The map lives only in the tab's memory. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR BROWSER No accounts, no proxy, no server, no analytics. Detection and masking run inside the page. The only network request the extension ever makes is license activation when you use a Pro or Team key. WORKS WHERE YOU CHAT The most used web chat assistants are supported out of the box; the list is in the extension's settings. Pro adds any other site: internal AI tools, help desks, CRMs. FOR TEAMS Force-install from your browser's admin console and push one policy to every seat: protection mode, protected words, extra sites, license. Users can't turn it off. Counts of what was masked (never the content) are kept per site and day and export as CSV. FREE AND PRO Free: all detectors on the default chat sites, ask or auto-mask per site, reversible placeholders, counts-only activity log.
