When you open a Berlin flat listing, a small card appears in the bottom right with the location of the address – compared with every residential location in Berlin: • Overall score and the neighbourhood's rank among all Berlin neighbourhoods • Transit, everyday needs, neighbourhood life, quiet, green & water, climate, social status and safety • Distances to U-/S-Bahn, supermarket, doctor, daycare and park, plus street noise • Asking rents in the neighbourhood: 2025 median (IBB) and change since 2012 – and how much more or less the listing asks per square metre • Berlin rent index 2026: location class, local reference rent and the approximate maximum rent under the rent cap – with a note when the asking rent is above it “Add to comparison” saves the listing on mikrolage.org, where you compare several flats side by side: costs, flat details, location and surroundings. “On the map” shows the address on the Berlin map.
