Overview

Check text for credentials and personal data, copy a redacted version, and review prompts before sharing with AI.

Check before you share. Redaxa helps you spot potential credentials, personal details and financial data in text before you send it to an AI tool. Paste a prompt, email or draft into the extension, check it, review grouped findings and copy a redacted version. Try a fictional example or use up to five real manual checks per 24 hours without an account (limit shared by network). New in 0.4.3 - Check, redact, copy and clear text directly in the popup. - API keys and tokens appear first, with probable service, credential type and recommended action when recognizable. - More precise Bearer-token, JWT and public-key handling reduces misleading secret alerts. - Account-service interruptions preserve the saved session, and editing text invalidates older results. Protection while you work With an active eligible trial or subscription, Redaxa checks supported composers on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity before sending. Review potential credentials, personal information and financial identifiers, including card and IBAN candidates checked with their respective checksums. Add your own protected terms, such as client names and project codenames. Repository checks with Pro and Business Open a public GitHub repository in the Redaxa Windows app from the extension. The Windows app is required and installed separately; repositories are not scanned inside Chrome. Review prioritized, grouped findings, coverage details and a redacted report. Business also adds shared protected terms and workspace policies for teams. How scanning works Text you choose to check is sent to Redaxa's backend for analysis; it is not processed entirely on your device. Prompt content is not stored or forwarded to an AI provider. Audit events contain metadata rather than prompt text. Repository scanning runs locally in the Windows app. Detection can miss sensitive information or flag harmless text. Service attribution is based on format and context, not verified ownership. Detected keys are never tested against their providers. Removing an exposed secret from a repository does not revoke it: use the issuing service's rotation process when appropriate. Review every result before sharing.
