You paste the same things into WhatsApp and Gmail dozens of times a day — the canned reply, the product screenshot, the demo video, the standard PDF, the explainer paragraph. The system clipboard holds exactly one thing at a time, and it forgets the moment you copy something new. Most "clipboard manager" extensions help with text history. They do not help with the rest. ClipVault is built for that rest. What it does ClipVault is a curated library of the snippets you reach for over and over. Save once, paste forever — without ever opening a settings panel. • Text snippets — greetings, signatures, replies, addresses, product copy, code blocks. • Images — logos, screenshots, memes, product photos. • Files — PDFs, docs, anything you re-send by attachment. • Videos — short demos, MP4s, GIFs you actually send instead of describing. Open the popup with a single shortcut (Cmd+Shift+V by default), search in the bar at the top, click the snippet — it is copied to your clipboard, ready to paste. Why ClipVault is different Pinned snippets are first-class. Your top eight snippets live in a strip across the top of the popup, one click each. No scrolling, no folder hunting. Real file and video insertion. The OS clipboard cannot carry a video or a multi-megabyte PDF into WhatsApp Web. ClipVault adds a small Insert button to the WhatsApp Web and Gmail compose surfaces. One click and the file is attached as if you had dragged it from your desktop. For text and images, the standard clipboard path is faster, and ClipVault uses it transparently. Folders and tags. Group templates by client, project, or context. Filter the list in the popup with a dropdown — no rearranging, no nesting nightmares. Bilingual interface. English and Hebrew, with proper RTL handling. The popup respects your browser locale and the manual override in settings. Quiet design. Coral on warm neutrals. Light by default, full dark mode that respects your system preference. No marketing pop-ups, no upgrade nudges, no telemetry banners. Privacy Nothing leaves your machine. ClipVault stores every snippet locally in your browser's IndexedDB. It makes zero network requests. No accounts, no sync server, no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports. The unlimitedStorage permission only signals to Chrome that the database can grow past the default 10 MB cap as your library grows; the data is still on your disk. If we ever add cloud sync in a future version, it will be opt-in and accompanied by a clear policy update. The default forever is local.
