Overview

Save reusable text clips locally and insert them from Chrome's right-click menu.

Clipstar keeps the text you reuse most just a right-click away. Create reusable clips for customer replies, email templates, helpdesk notes, checklists, signatures, and anything else you type repeatedly. Organize clips into folders and subfolders, search your collection, and drag clips into the exact order you prefer. Key features: • Insert clips directly from a text field’s right-click menu • Create standalone clips or organize them into folders • Search clip labels, folders, and text • Reorder clips with drag and drop or keyboard controls • Copy any clip to your clipboard • Export and restore your collection using JSON backups • Support for standard text fields, rich-text editors, and selected ServiceNow journal fields Local by design: Clipstar has no account, analytics, telemetry, advertising, or developer-operated server. Your clips remain in Chrome’s local storage on your device. Clipstar does not request permanent access to websites. Temporary access is granted only after you deliberately choose a Clipstar item from an editable field’s right-click menu. Your reusable text stays organized, accessible, and under your control.
