ClipMate Smart Paste

Transform selected text or your clipboard with ClipMate Smart Paste.

Rewrite, summarize, translate, or transform text without leaving Chrome. Open the ClipMate composer from the toolbar, Alt+V, or the context menu on selected text. ClipMate uses selected text from the active page when available and falls back to your current clipboard when nothing is selected. A clearly colored source preview shows whether Selection or Clipboard will be used. Sign in with Google, enter an instruction, and submit when you are ready. ClipMate sends only the displayed source text and your prompt for that Smart Paste request. Review the result in the extension and copy it only when you choose Copy result. Privacy by design: • Selection or clipboard access follows an explicit user invocation. • Source text and prompt are sent to ClipMate only when the form is submitted. • Pending invocation data and prompt drafts use temporary browser session storage. • The authentication session is stored locally so you can remain signed in. • No analytics, ads, tracking, or remotely hosted executable code. • No persistent access to every website.
