Learn languages from YouTube and Netflix videos you love
Learn Korean or Ukrainian from the shows you already watch. ClipIt turns YouTube and Netflix into a language-learning tool — automatically. Just watch what you'd watch anyway, and ClipIt quietly builds you a personal vocabulary deck from the real subtitles you saw on screen. What it does - Detects when you're watching a Korean or Ukrainian video on YouTube or Netflix - Pulls the real subtitles from that video and extracts the most useful, high-frequency words - Builds each word into a flashcard with its translation and the actual sentence it appeared in — so you learn vocabulary the way it's really used, not from a generic list - Tracks every video you watch, so your whole viewing history becomes a searchable practice log - Syncs everything to your ClipIt account, where you can review flashcards, practice with AI conversation, and fill in madlibs using words pulled straight from your own videos Why install it Flashcard apps make you do the work of finding words worth learning. ClipIt does that part for you — it watches for real vocabulary as it appears in context, so every word you study is one you've already heard used naturally. It's the difference between memorizing a word list and actually picking up how a word gets used in a sentence, a joke, or a piece of dialogue. gets used in a sentence, a joke, or a piece of dialogue. - Zero manual effort — no pausing, typing, or copy-pasting subtitles yourself - Works on both YouTube and Netflix - Keeps a running history of every video you've watched, with the vocabulary from each one - Everything you clip is instantly available in the ClipIt web app for spaced-repetition review How it works 1. Sign in to your ClipIt account at clipit-sable.vercel.app and keep it open in a tab 2. Watch any Korean or Ukrainian video on YouTube or Netflix as you normally would 3.
