Overview

Auto-save clipboard history, search with Fuse.js, pin clips. Recopy in one click. Free: 20 items. Pro: unlimited + export. $3.99.

Everything you copy, always within reach. ClipStack automatically saves your clipboard history the moment you press Ctrl+C. Search, re-copy, or pin any clip in seconds — without switching apps or re-finding the original source. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Problem ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Your system clipboard holds exactly one item. Every new copy overwrites the last. Existing clipboard manager extensions for Chrome tend to have one of two problems: they lack basic features like search and pinning, or their interfaces look like they were designed in 2010 and haven't been touched since. ClipStack was built from scratch with a minimal, keyboard-friendly interface and the features that matter: real-time fuzzy search, pinning, and clean organization. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Features ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Auto-Capture & History (Free) • Automatically saves text to history the moment you copy (Ctrl+C / Cmd+C) • Shows your last 20 clips in a clean, scannable list • One-click recopy: click any item to copy it back to your clipboard immediately • Works across all websites and apps in Chrome Search (Free) • Incremental fuzzy search powered by Fuse.js — results update as you type • Finds clips even with typos or partial matches • No need to remember exact wording — type a fragment and find it Pins (Free — up to 5) • Pin frequently used clips so they're always at the top • Pinned items survive history rotation and session restarts • Great for boilerplate text, addresses, code snippets you reuse constantly Pro Features ($3.99 one-time) • Unlimited history — no 20-clip limit • Unlimited pins • Category / tag organization — group clips by project or type • Export: download your full history as JSON or TXT • Ctrl+Shift+V global shortcut to open ClipStack instantly ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Use Cases ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Developers: save code snippets temporarily while switching between files • Writers: recover text you thought you'd lost to a new copy • Customer support: pin standard responses for instant reuse • Researchers: keep multiple copied excerpts accessible without re-finding sources • Power users: use Ctrl+Shift+V to access history from anywhere ClipStack vs SnippetVault vs PromptStash These three S-Hub extensions serve different use cases. ClipStack = general clipboard history (everything you copy, automatically). SnippetVault = permanent code snippet library (manually organized). PromptStash = AI prompt management (structured prompts, not copy history). Use the one that matches your workflow — or all three. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Free vs Pro ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Feature Free Pro ───────────────────────────────────── Auto-capture ✅ ✅ History items 20 Unlimited Incremental search ✅ ✅ Pins 5 Unlimited Categories / tags ✗ ✅ Export (JSON / TXT) ✗ ✅ Ctrl+Shift+V shortcut ✗ ✅ Dark mode ✅ ✅ EN / JA language ✅ ✅ Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Privacy ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ All clipboard data is stored locally using chrome.storage.local. Nothing you copy is transmitted to any external server. No account or login is required. ClipStack requires the clipboardRead permission to capture text when you copy — this is used only to save history locally and is never sent anywhere. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FAQ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Does ClipStack read everything I copy automatically? Yes — ClipStack captures text when you press Ctrl+C or Cmd+C. This data is saved only in your browser's local storage and never transmitted externally. You can clear history at any time from the extension popup. Does it capture passwords? ClipStack captures text-based clipboard content. We recommend disabling ClipStack or clearing history if you copy sensitive data like passwords. Future versions may add per-site exclusion rules. Does it work with images? Image clipboard support is planned for v1.1 (Pro). The current v1.0 captures text only. Can I use it without a Pro subscription? Yes. The free plan includes 20 history items, real-time search, and 5 pins — fully functional with no time limit. Pro adds unlimited history, categories, and export.
