Spec Sheet Builder is for builders and remodelers who spend their evenings retyping product details into spec sheets. The clipper removes the retyping. Open a product page you are already looking at and click the clipper. It reads that page and fills in the name, the brand, the model or SKU, the finish, the size, the unit and the price. Where a page sells by the case, it brings across the coverage and the case price and works out the unit price for you, so the number on the spec sheet is the number you actually buy at. A panel opens beside the page with everything it found. You check it, pick which photos to keep, choose a folder, and save. The product lands in your library with its source link attached, ready to drop onto a spec sheet, an order sheet or a client packet. How it handles your data: - It has no standing access to any website and asks for no host permissions. It reads a page only after you click it, and only the tab you clicked it on. - Clipping sends that page's HTML and its address to Spec Sheet Builder so the product details can be extracted. Where a page is hard to read, that content may also be processed by a third party service to help pull the fields out. Our privacy policy sets out who and why. - It signs in with a dedicated clipper token, not your password. It does not attach the site's cookies to anything it sends, though the page it captures is the page as you see it. You need a Spec Sheet Builder account.
