End-to-end encrypted clinic team chat that lives inside your PMS — Cliniko, Jane, Nookal, Power Diary, and Halaxy.

ClinikChat brings end-to-end encrypted team chat into Cliniko, so practitioners can message each other about a patient without leaving the chart. WHAT IT DOES ClinikChat injects a chat panel onto Cliniko pages. Click the toolbar icon (or press Ctrl+Shift+C / Cmd+Shift+C) to open it. From there you can: • Send and receive encrypted messages with other staff in your practice • Open a direct message with any colleague • Share files and images, all encrypted on your device before they leave the browser • React to messages, edit and delete your own • Get a notification when a colleague mentions you The panel sits alongside Cliniko — your existing workflow stays the same. END-TO-END ENCRYPTION Every message and file is encrypted on your device with keys that only your team holds. The ClinikChat server stores ciphertext only. We cannot read your messages even if compelled by law enforcement, and a server breach would not expose patient information. Encryption is built in. There is nothing to configure. WHO IT'S FOR Australian allied health and medical clinics that already use Cliniko and need a quick, private way to message between practitioners about clinical handovers, room changes, urgent patient notes, and the day-to-day coordination that doesn't fit in a Cliniko message thread. PERMISSIONS The extension requests access to cliniko.com domains only. It needs this to inject the chat panel into your Cliniko tab. It does not read patient data from Cliniko, does not modify Cliniko's pages beyond adding the panel container, and does not transmit anything from Cliniko's pages to ClinikChat servers. Other permissions: • storage — remembers your sign-in and the panel's open/closed state across browser restarts • activeTab — knows which Cliniko tab is in focus so the panel renders in the right place • clipboardWrite — lets you copy messages and invite codes • tabs — opens the ClinikChat web app when you click "Open in browser"
