A badge (!) appears on the extension icon. Click it to open the Climate Risk side panel — no page modification, no scraping. The panel reads the address from your browser's URL bar, queries authoritative public APIs, and displays all 6 risk indicators with source links. The panel updates automatically as you browse between listings. Data Sources: All data comes from official government sources: CAL FIRE, FEMA, Cal-Adapt (California Energy Commission), CA Coastal Commission, and NOAA. Forward-looking metrics show mid-century projections (2050–2060) under the RCP 8.5 emissions scenario using the peer-reviewed HadGEM2-ES climate model. Privacy: No personal data is collected or shared. Property coordinates are used solely to query public climate APIs. All results are cached locally on your device for 30 days. No backend server.
