Salesforce Change Set Helper Renewed

)Overview
Search, filter and stage change set components across types, remove many at once, and read debug logs. Built for large orgs.
Salesforce Change Set Helper Renewed turns the Add to Change Set page and the change set page into lists you can search, filter and sort, even in orgs with thousands of components. If an earlier version froze or crashed your tab: version 4.6 rebuilt the list so it loads in the background and only draws the rows on screen, and 4.7 adds bulk removal. Version 5 gives every screen one new, calmer design. The count grows while it loads, you can search what has loaded already, and Stop ends it. We test with a list of 5,000+ custom fields; the largest orgs may still take a while to finish loading. ADD TO CHANGE SET • One table for every component of a type, not 1,000 at a time • Date Modified, Modified by, Created Date, Created by and full API names, for far more component types than before • One search box: words in any order, "exact phrases" and -exclusions, best matches first • Filters under every column, with multi-select for object, modified by and created by • Modified presets: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, This Month, or a custom range • Tick components in several types; they stay staged while you switch, and you can review or drop them before saving • Quick Save adds everything staged without leaving the page, and confirms what was saved, also in change sets over 25 components • "In this change set" lists every component already added • Filter by one object and "Select all N in " takes all of its fields in one click • Export the filtered list as CSV or package.xml • Resizable columns; sort, filters and widths are remembered while you switch type CHANGE SET PAGE • Every component listed, however many Salesforce shows per page, with a progress bar and Stop • A note when the change set includes profile settings, which replace the target org's profile settings for its components when deployed • The same search, filters, dates and API names on the components already in the change set • Remove selected: tick components (or Select All), confirm once, and they are removed ten at a time. Each batch is checked against the change set, so anything Salesforce did not remove stays listed. Stop ends it after the batch in progress. DEBUG LOGS • One line per log: what started it (trigger, flow, Apex method, page) and meters for CPU, heap, SOQL and DML that turn amber and red as a log nears a limit • Sort by any limit, search, and filter by user, type and status; newest logs first • The newest logs are read in the background and the list is usable straight away; older and large logs are read when you ask • "Classic view" switches back to Salesforce's own table Works in Salesforce Classic and in Lightning Setup. PRIVACY The extension does not collect or send your data anywhere. It reads your existing Salesforce session and talks only to the org you are signed in to. The one setting it saves, an optional API version, stays in Chrome storage. If the original "Salesforce Change Set Helper" is also installed, disable one of them. The two cannot run on the same page, and this extension shows a warning when it detects the other one. What's new in 5.0.0 Version 5 is rebuilt for big change sets, with a new look, and includes everything in 4.7.0 below. • Select All on 10,000 components takes about 0.15 s, where 4.6.2 took about 1.1 s; a 50,000-row list is ready to search about a quarter sooner, and Select All stops at Salesforce's own 10,000-component limit with a message • Five times less code on the Add page (1.6 MB, down from 8.9 MB) and a download a quarter of the size • A dialog, not a bar in the list, asks before components are removed; a list with nothing in it says so and what to do • Exports are named for the change set and the time (for example acme-release-package-20261007-1405.xml), and keep that name inside Lightning Setup • Fixed in Lightning Setup: component details failing with "Session expired or invalid", and "Open in Full Window" showing a connection error on first load • One design language across the popup, options page and every Salesforce page the extension enhances: paper and ink neutrals, thin rules, a single orange accent from the icon, and monospace for API names and counts • Clearer buttons: Add To Change Set is the one orange primary action, Quick Save sits next to it • Popup and options page rebuilt, with icons in place of emoji and a dark mode that follows your system • The "Enhanced by" badge moved to the bottom corner so it no longer covers Setup and Help • The options page now confirms when your API version is saved
