Unlike a dictionary or a chatbot, ClickNote reads the document with you, so the explanation fits what you are reading instead of giving you a generic definition. HOW IT WORKS Select any text on a webpage or in a PDF An explanation appears next to your selection in seconds Still confused? Select any phrase inside the answer to go deeper, or type a follow-up question EXPLANATIONS THAT KNOW THE PAGE ClickNote does not explain your selection in isolation. Before it answers, it looks at the section you are in, the paragraphs before and after your selection, and any nearby code, table or list. A term in a machine learning paper gets explained the way that paper uses it, and a function name in documentation gets explained in terms of the code around it. Select a formula in a textbook and ClickNote explains what it means in that chapter, not just what the symbols are. Answers stream in within seconds and stay short, so you keep reading instead of switching tabs. GO DEEPER UNTIL IT CLICKS Every answer is selectable. If one phrase in the explanation is still unclear, select it and ClickNote explains that part, using the answer and the page as context. Keep going as deep as you need, or type your own follow-up question. Each step stays linked to the one before it, so you can jump back to any earlier answer and pick up where you were. Only one answer is open at a time, so the panel stays small however far you go. PDFS WORK THE SAME WAY Research papers, manuals, textbooks and reports open in ClickNote’s own PDF viewer, so you can select a passage and get the same page-aware explanation, with the surrounding lines, paragraph and page used as context. The viewer is built for long documents: smooth scrolling, search, zoom, fit to width, rotate, page jump and download, and you can switch back to Chrome’s viewer at any time. The PDF never leaves your device; it is rendered entirely locally. (PDF support needs Chrome 151 or newer and works with PDFs that have selectable text. On older versions everything else keeps working.)
