ClickMee — click a word, click it again, it's copied. No more clicking and dragging just to grab a price, a name, or a line of code. Click once to select a word, click it again to copy it. Want more than one word? Turn on multi-word mode, click the first word and the last word, and everything in between is copied — formatting included. KEY FEATURES • One-click word selection, one more click to copy • Multi-word mode: click the start, click the end, copy the whole range • Keeps formatting — bold, links, line breaks, and (optionally) images copy exactly as they appear on the page • Custom highlight color, so you can see what you're about to copy • Copy History — every copy is saved locally and can be searched, re-copied, or deleted, in its own window • Disable links — turn off link clicks so you can copy the text of a link instead of navigating away • Per-site rules — turn ClickMee off on specific sites (like Gmail or Notion) without disabling it everywhere • Side panel or popup — choose whichever fits how you browse • Keyboard shortcuts to open Copy History and to turn ClickMee on or off instantly HOW IT WORKS Click any word on a page — it gets selected and a small "ESC · click again to copy" hint appears above it Click the same word again to copy it, or (with multi-word mode on) click another word to copy everything in between Press ESC or click elsewhere to cancel Works on regular text, and can optionally include images that fall inside the selection. PRIVACY ClickMee does not collect, transmit, or sell any data. Your copy history and settings are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and never leave your device — there are no servers, no analytics, and no tracking involved. WHY THE PERMISSIONS • Read and change site data on all pages — needed to detect the word you clicked and copy it, on any website • Tabs — used to show which site you're currently on (for per-site rules) and to keep the side panel in sync as you switch tabs • Clipboard — needed to actually copy text to your clipboard • Storage — saves your settings and copy history locally, on your device • Side panel — lets ClickMee run as a side panel instead of a popup, if you choose that mode Free, no account required, no ads.
