VNCNT Access Audit: WCAG 2.2 Accessibility Checker
Overview
Check any web page against WCAG 2.2 in your browser: issues by severity and criterion, outlined on the page, with fixes.
Find accessibility problems on any web page without sending it anywhere. Click the VNCNT Access Audit icon (or press Alt+Shift+A). A panel opens on the page and checks it against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 (levels A and AA by default, AAA optional) plus common best practices. Everything runs inside your browser, using the bundled open-source axe-core engine. UNLIMITED FREE SCANS Free is not a trial. Scan as many pages as you want, with every rule we ship, severity and criterion grouping, outlines, contrast tools and the landmark map. No account. No daily limit. WHAT YOU GET FOR FREE • Unlimited single-page checks, every rule, no account • Results by severity (critical, serious, moderate, minor) or by WCAG success criterion • Click "Show on page" to outline the element, or highlight all of them • How to fix each issue, with the affected HTML • Colour-contrast details: measured colours, ratio, what WCAG asks for, and a passing colour to try • Contrast checker, heading map and landmarks • "Needs review" list for things a person must judge • Copy a plain-text summary PRO (COMING SOON, NOT IN THIS VERSION) • HTML and PDF audit reports with screenshots, with personal data and secrets on the page blurred automatically • Export issues as Markdown, a Jira CSV, Jira markup or pre-filled GitHub "New issue" links • Fix suggestions written by your browser's on-device AI where available (built-in templates otherwise) • Check more pages of the same site in one go: you pick the pages, and the browser asks you first PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Runs only on the tab where you click it, with permissions limited to activeTab, scripting and storage • No access to other sites, no tracking, no account, nothing uploaded • All code is in the package, with no remote scripts PLEASE NOTE Automated checks find only part of accessibility problems. Many need a person to judge: keyboard use, screen readers, meaningful alt text, captions. A clean result does not mean a page is accessible or conforms to WCAG, and it is not legal advice or a certification.
