CleverClip Clipboard History automatically saves the text you copy from websites and helps you manage your clipboard with ease — all while keeping your data private and stored locally. Key Features: – Automatically saves copied text – Records the URL of each copy event – Records the time of each copy event – Right-click (context menu) access to your last 10 clips – All data is stored locally in your browser – Option to clear clipboard history at any time – Works across all websites (except secure or restricted pages) –Customizable settings, including enabling/disabling tracking, setting a maximum clipboard history limit, and adding blacklist domains to exclude specific sites. – Includes a default blacklist of sensitive sites (such as banking, email, and payment services) to protect your privacy Privacy-Focused: This extension does not transmit any data externally. All clipboard data is stored securely using Chrome’s local storage or Chrome Sync (if enabled). We do not collect, share, or sell any of your data. Permissions Used: 1. storage – to store the clipboard history in your browser. 2. activeTab – to access the URL of the page where the copy occurred. 3. scripting / content_scripts – to detect copy events. 4. tabs – to retrieve tab info for context. 5. contextMenus – to display recent clips in the right-click (context) menu. 6. host_permissions (e.g., <all_urls>) – Allows the extension to interact with all webpages (HTTP/HTTPS). Required for clipboard monitoring and content script functionality across sites.
