ClefVault is the browser companion for your ClefVault workspace vault — the encrypted team password manager built into ClefVault's agency/business management platform. WHAT IT DOES • Autofill on any recognized login page. Focus a username or password field and a pick-list of matching saved logins appears — click or press Enter to fill. Nothing fills silently without your action. • Works across every workspace you belong to, all at once. No switching "active workspace" — if you have access to a login, it shows up. • Strong password suggestions on signup and change-password forms, with a one-click fill + clipboard copy. • Recognizes login forms embedded in iframes (SSO pages, payment gateway steps), not just top-level pages. • Reveal on demand only — your vault list stays masked until you actually fill or copy a password, and every reveal is recorded in your workspace's audit log. READ-ONLY BY DESIGN The extension never creates, edits, or deletes anything in your vault. It only reads what your account already has access to, exactly as scoped by your workspace role. PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY • Read and modify data on all sites — needed to detect login/signup forms and fill them wherever you're logging in; ClefVault doesn't know in advance which of the millions of sites you use it on. • Storage — keeps your signed-in session on this device. • Active tab / scripting — lets the extension act on the page you're currently viewing when you interact with it. No browsing history, page content, or typed data is ever sent to ClefVault's servers — only the specific site's domain, to look up matching saved logins.
