If a website does not behave as expected, you can pause ClearWeb for that site, add it to your allowlist, or adjust your custom cleanup rules. ClearWeb is built to reduce unwanted clutter, but no blocker can guarantee that every ad or page element will be removed from every website. PRIVACY AND CONTROL ClearWeb does not sell your browsing data or inject affiliate links. Most blocking and cleanup runs locally, and settings, allowlists, custom rules, and basic statistics are stored in Chrome’s local extension storage.
