Clearspace helps you review a crowded Google Photos library without uploading your photos to another service. Choose the Google Photos view you want to clean, open Clearspace, and start a local scan. Clearspace waits for visible thumbnails to load, creates compact visual fingerprints in your browser, and groups possible exact copies, similar photos, and likely screenshots for review. You stay in control: • Review every finding before taking action. • Select individual findings or all findings currently shown. • Prepare your choices in Google Photos, then use Google Photos’ own controls if you decide to move anything to the Bin. • Adjust similarity sensitivity from very strict to broad. • Clear all locally stored scan data at any time. Privacy is built into the workflow. Photo analysis runs in Chrome on your computer. Clearspace does not receive your Google password, upload your photos, sell user data, or use your activity for advertising. Full viewport captures are processed in memory and discarded after thumbnail analysis. Only compact fingerprints, scan progress, settings, and small previews of flagged items are retained in Chrome extension storage.
