Clearday replaces your new tab with a calm dashboard that answers two questions Chrome never does: where does my time go, and who has access to my data? SCREEN TIME • Today: time by category, top sites with visit counts, tab switches per hour, longest session, first site of the day. • Week: daily bars, comparison with last week, average per day, night-time browsing, site of the week. • Morning brief: one line about yesterday the first time you open a tab each day. • Assign categories with one click. Sites you mark as “forgotten” are never tracked. PRIVACY • Privacy score 0–100 built from eight signals. • Site permissions: which sites can use your camera, microphone, location and notifications — revoke in one click. • Cookies and trackers: how many cookies you carry, how many are trackers, which companies follow you on how many sites. Delete trackers only, stay logged in everywhere. • Browser privacy settings: five Chrome settings that leak data most often, fixed in one click. • Extensions audit: the access level of every installed extension, disable or remove the ones you don’t trust. • Forget this site: one action removes a site from statistics, Chrome history and its cookies. MAKE IT YOURS • Drag widgets, resize them, hide the ones you don’t need, add them back from the gallery. • Light, dark or system theme, 8 accent colours, 7 backgrounds, compact or comfortable density, flat or glass cards. • Quick access to your most visited sites, search in your default engine. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything is stored locally in your browser. No servers, no accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Every sensitive permission is optional: each widget asks for exactly what it needs, when you enable it, and shows you Chrome’s own warning text first. You can revoke any permission from the widget itself. The extension is free. It shows clearly labelled partner recommendations of privacy tools; nothing about you is sent to partners unless you click. Works in English, Russian and German, following your browser language.
