CleanRead transforms any article into a clean, distraction-free reading view with one click. The web is cluttered. Dark mode: CleanRead automatically follows your system preference. If your operating system is set to dark mode, CleanRead renders in a dark theme with adjusted contrast ratios for comfortable reading. No toggle needed. Privacy: CleanRead operates entirely within your browser. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted. The article content is processed locally using Mozilla's open-source Readability library, the same engine that powers Firefox Reader View. Nothing leaves your device.
