Overview
Hide unwanted Discord UI clutter and theme Discord with a free, polished theme engine.
CleanDis is a surgical Chrome extension that strips Discord of its clutter. Built for power users who want a quieter, faster, more focused chat experience. ▼ HIDE — eleven independent toggle gates Hide servers, member lists, channels, ignored users, blocked users, GIFs, URL embeds, file attachments, emojis, reactions, and the "auto-empty" hide for messages whose only content was just hidden. Flip what you want gone, leave the rest. ▼ FILTER — handle and keyword blocklists Add a username and CleanDis collapses every message, member-row, mention chrome, typing indicator, and reply-author header from that user — to a 6-pixel slim placeholder, not display:none, so Discord's chat virtualizer doesn't lose its place. Aggressive variant matching catches leet-speak and repeat-character spoofs of the same name. Keywords use literal-escaped regex with word-boundary by default and an optional substring flag. ▼ AUTO-ALERT — watchlist toasts Add a username to the watchlist and get a discreet in-page toast the second they come online or post in a channel you're in. Per-target cooldown keeps things sane. ▼ AUTO-DELETE — timed deletion of your own messages Add channels to a per-channel watchlist with a timer (30s / 5min / 1hr / 24hr). Every message you send in an opted-in channel after enabling gets a 💀 countdown badge. When it hits zero, CleanDis sends a real DELETE request to Discord. Only your own messages, only opted-in channels, off everywhere by default. The timer queue persists across browser restarts. A first-time consent gate documents the Terms-of-Service implications of automated user-token writes; you accept the risk by enabling. ▼ CHAT EXPORT — paginated channel export to JSON + CSV Auto-detects the channel you're in. Pick a range — last N, since a date, or all — and CleanDis paginates Discord's own message API, formats the result, and downloads it. Your auth token is read from the page once, held in service-worker memory for one operation, then nulled. Never logged. Never persisted. Never sent anywhere except Discord. ▼ THEME FORGE — 15 prebaked themes, JSON paste editor Pick from fifteen prebakeds (Midnight, Sunset Oxide, Paper, AMOLED, Terminal Vibe, Mocha, and more). Open the in-Discord cog panel to swap by clicking visual cards. Paste a JSON blob to import a friend's palette — export your own to share it back. ▼ PRIVACY POSTURE - All settings stored in chrome.storage.local. Never synced. - No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party scripts, no contact-server endpoints. - The Discord auth token used for chat export is never logged with its value, never written to storage, and never sent anywhere other than Discord's own API. ▼ PERMISSIONS - storage: save your settings locally - scripting: run on Discord pages and modify the DOM (apply hide gates, tag blocked-user rows, inject the cog button) - downloads: deliver chat-export JSON / CSV files to your Downloads folder - host: *.discord.com only CleanDis is an independent third-party utility.
