Clean Print
Overview
Print in Read Mode, print selection, or save as HTML — cleanly formatted, ad-free, with minimal margins.
Clean Print turns any cluttered web page into a tidy, readable article you can print, save as a PDF, or download as a standalone HTML file — with ads, menus, pop-ups, cookie banners, and other clutter stripped out. It uses Mozilla's Readability engine (the technology behind Firefox Reader View) to find the real article, sanitizes it with DOMPurify, and lays it out on a clean, print-optimized page with sensible margins. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Print in Read Mode — extract the article and open a clean reader page ready to print or save as PDF. • Print Selection — do the same for just the text you highlighted. • Save as HTML — download a self-contained file with images embedded, so it works fully offline. • Tune before you print — adjust text size, switch serif/sans, show or hide images, optionally print link URLs, and click to remove any leftover element (with undo). • Right-click menu & shortcut — "Print in Read Mode" from the context menu, or press Alt+Shift+P. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • 100% local. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no trackers. • Nothing you read or print is ever sent to the developer or any third party. • The only network requests are to fetch the page's own images so your saved copy works offline. HANDLES REAL-WORLD PAGES • Works with shadow DOM, lazy-loaded and infinite-scroll content, and falls back gracefully when a page is hard to parse. • Requests no up-front access to any website — it only reads a page at the moment you ask it to.
