Clean Instagram Video

Overview

Replaces Instagram video pages with a native HTML5 player, initially paused with sound enabled.

Clean Instagram Video turns Instagram video pages into a distraction-free native HTML5 player. It finds the video's direct MP4 URL and creates a fresh player, removing Instagram's controls, cookie dialogs, login nags, and page overlays from view. Features: • Full-window native video player • Starts paused with sound enabled • Familiar play, pause, seek, volume, and fullscreen controls • Works on Instagram pages with an available direct video URL • Runs only on instagram.com • Requests no extension permissions Pages without an available direct video URL are left unchanged. The original Instagram page remains hidden behind the player. This extension does not bypass private posts or login requirements. The extension does not collect, store, or transmit user data.
