Clean Copy — tidy links
Overview
Strips tracking junk (utm_, fbclid, gclid…) from links when you copy them. Cleaner URLs, automatically.
Ever paste a link and it's a mess of ?utm_source=…&fbclid=…&gclid=…? Clean Copy quietly removes that tracking junk the moment you copy a link, so you share clean, readable URLs. BEFORE https://shop.com/product/747?color=red&utm_source=newsletter&fbclid=IwAR2xK9&ref=twitter AFTER https://shop.com/product/747?color=red HOW IT WORKS • Auto-clean on copy — copy any link and tracking parameters are stripped before they reach your clipboard. A small "Link cleaned" toast confirms it. • Right-click → "Copy clean link" — grab a cleaned version of any link straight from the context menu. • Popup tester — paste a URL to preview the cleaned result, toggle features, and see how many links you've cleaned. WHAT IT REMOVES A curated, conservative list of known trackers: utm_* campaign tags, ad click IDs (gclid, dclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, twclid, ttclid, yclid), referral/share junk (ref, igshid, spm and more), and site-specific noise like YouTube/Spotify "si", Amazon "/ref=…", and eBay/AliExpress tracking. It only removes parameters known to be tracking-related, so links that need their query string keep working. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no servers, no analytics. Everything runs locally in your browser. Clean Copy is free — with an optional tip jar if it saves you hassle.
