Check a Reddit account before you trade, buy, or answer a DM. Rearview shows the archived post and comment history of any Reddit account, including accounts that have hidden their history on their profile. It uses Arctic Shift, a free community archive of public Reddit data. Rearview has no server of its own and never sees what you look up. ON REDDIT • A small history button next to every username • A "See full history" button on profile pages • Both open a panel on the right side of the page ANYWHERE • Click the toolbar icon to look up any username or profile link in the side panel • Right-click any Reddit username link and choose "See account history in Rearview" WHAT YOU SEE • Activity over time: every month from sign-up to today. Silences of a year or more are shown as a labelled block, so a dormant account that suddenly woke up stands out. Click a month to filter. • What stands out: plain observations such as a brand-new account, a long silence followed by recent activity, heavy deleting, or activity concentrated in one community. These are patterns, not proof. • Most active in: the account's top communities. Click one to filter. • Posts and comments: one time-ordered feed with infinite scroll, text search within the account, newest or oldest first, and tags for items that were later deleted or removed. PRIVACY • No account, no sign-up, no tracking, no analytics • Your settings and recent lookups stay in your browser • Requests go only to Reddit and the Arctic Shift archive, and only when you start a lookup • NSFW content is hidden by default KNOWN LIMITS • Very recent activity may be missing, and scores are frozen about 36 hours after posting • Only public communities are archived Rearview is not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. or with Arctic Shift.
