ClauseLens

Overview
Review policies, agreements, and terms locally in your browser.
ClauseLens helps you review Terms of Service, privacy policies, contracts, and other agreements directly in your browser. Key features: - Detects legal and policy documents on webpages. - Flags clauses involving arbitration, automatic renewals, cancellation, data sharing, tracking, liability, content ownership, and similar concerns. - Assigns a severity level and explains why each finding may matter. - Grounds every finding in identifiable source text from the document. - Lets you jump directly to and highlight the relevant text on the webpage. - Detects changes between previously analyzed and current document versions. - Offers optional automatic analysis for recognized legal-document pages. ClauseLens uses a deterministic, heuristic analysis engine. All document processing happens locally inside the browser. Document contents, browsing history, URLs, analytics, and telemetry are not transmitted to ClauseLens or any third party. Preferences and recent analysis results are stored only in Firefox's private local extension storage. No account, login, subscription, or payment is required. ClauseLens is an educational and productivity tool. Its findings are not legal advice and should not replace advice from a qualified legal professional.
