No third-party accounts, no servers — everything runs locally using Claude's own data. WHAT CLAUGE DOES Clauge is a Chrome extension built for Claude.ai power users. It sits quietly in your browser and gives you real-time visibility into: How much of your current 5-hour session window you've used How much of your weekly allowance you've consumed across all models Approximately how many messages you have left before hitting your limit The approximate token count of your current conversation All data is read directly from Claude's own API — Clauge never sends your data anywhere. KEY FEATURES 🔢 Live Usage Meter A session runway meter shows your 5-hour usage as a percentage, with a live progress bar that turns amber then red as you approach your limit. Also shows exactly when your session resets. 📍 Floating Chat Overlay A slim, always-visible bar sits on your active Claude chat — session usage, weekly usage, and a live countdown to your next reset ("resets in 3h 11m"), no need to open the popup. Drag it out of the way or dismiss it anytime. 📊 Weekly Usage Tracker See your overall weekly capacity used across all Claude models, plus your next reset date, right in the popup. 💬 Message Count Estimator Clauge learns your average message cost over time and predicts how many more Sonnet, Opus, or Haiku messages you can send before hitting your limit — updating live as you switch models. 🧮 Token Counter See the approximate token count for your active conversation — free and unlimited, with no message caps. 🔀 Conversation Relay (Handoff) Running low on Claude? Export your entire conversation — including artifacts like code and HTML — as structured Markdown, and continue it in ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok with one click. Free and unlimited transfers, or download as a Markdown file / copy to clipboard. 🔥 Caveman Mode A one-click style toggle that makes Claude (or ChatGPT/Gemini/Grok) reply in a terse, no-filler style — stripping pleasantries and hedging while keeping technical accuracy. Integrated directly into the extension, one click to enable. 🎨 Theme Support Light and dark modes, with an option to auto-sync with Claude's own theme. HOW IT WORKS (PRIVACY FIRST) Clauge reads usage data from Claude's existing API endpoints — the same data your browser already fetches. It does not create accounts, store data on external servers, send your conversations anywhere, or require any login or API key. All storage stays local in your browser via Chrome's storage API.
