Claude YouTube Sync
Overview
Auto-plays YouTube while Claude Code is working, pauses when it finishes so you can focus on the output.
Watch YouTube while you wait for Claude Code to finish thinking. When you submit a prompt in Claude Code, your YouTube video automatically starts playing — that's your downtime. When Claude finishes responding, the video pauses so you can review the output without distraction. How it works: A lightweight local relay server (runs on your machine) receives signals from Claude Code hooks This extension connects to that server and controls YouTube playback No data leaves your machine — everything runs locally on localhost Setup takes 2 minutes: Install the extension Run the relay server (one npm command) Add two lines to your Claude Code settings Full setup guide: github.com/[your-username]/claude-youtube-sync Requirements: Claude Code (Anthropic's AI coding CLI) Node.js installed locally The companion relay server (included in the GitHub repo)
