Overview

Your Claude usage, always visible. Tracks session & weekly limits, per-model quotas, and an activity heatmap to pace yourself.

Claude Usage Dashboard — control your Claude.ai limits in one place Have you ever seen the "you've reached your limit" message right in the middle of an important project? Claude Usage Dashboard solves this: the extension shows you how much session and weekly resource you have left before Claude tells you itself. Whether you use Claude every day, work with multiple models, or simply want to understand where your quota goes — this extension gives you the full picture right in your browser, without any extra steps. Quick tour (screenshots + what it looks like inside Claude.ai): https://claude.usagedashboard.net ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Who it's for: • active Claude users who want to plan work around limits • those who switch between models and want to understand where the quota goes • those running long projects who want to see their "load" over time • those working in Claude Code who want to know how much session resource is left • developers and researchers who want to understand their usage patterns • those who want to finish a task before the limit resets and know exactly how much time is left • those switching between plans who want to see the difference in available resources ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ What it does: LIMITS AND INDICATORS Visual indicators for session and weekly usage progress right in the extension icon and popup panel. Shows usage percentage, remaining resource, and time until reset. The color scale transitions from green to red as you approach the limit — you notice early, not when it's too late. FLOATING BARS Two slim indicators — session and week — displayed directly on the Claude.ai page without overlapping the interface. Can be pinned to the message input area or the top edge of the page. Always visible, no need to open the extension. Toggled on/off in settings with a single switch. PER-MODEL BREAKDOWN When Claude.ai provides model data for your plan, the extension shows a breakdown by Fable / Opus / Sonnet / Haiku — how much of your weekly quota went to each model. Useful if you consciously choose a model based on the task and want to understand where the resource drains faster. ACTIVITY HEATMAP Local activity history and a heatmap by day and hour — all stored in your browser. See what time of day you use Claude the most, which days have higher load, and how your usage pattern changes over time. Great for understanding your own habits and scheduling tasks around your usage rhythm. AUTO-UPDATE Stats sync automatically 1.5 seconds after each sent message. No need to manually refresh or open the extension — data is always current. If you want to force refresh, use the refresh button in the panel header. NOTIFICATIONS Configurable reminders when selected thresholds are reached: 50%, 75%, 90%, 100%. Get a system browser notification at the right moment — finish your task in advance or switch to another model. All thresholds are set independently, enable only the ones you need. SIDEBAR A stats panel right in Claude.ai's sidebar column. Enabled from extension settings. Shows the same data as the popup — session, week, models — but embedded directly in the Claude interface, without clicking the extension icon. CHAT EXPORT Save the current conversation to a file (Markdown) and transfer the content to a new or existing chat. Useful when hitting the context limit or when you need to continue a conversation in a different thread. Works directly from the extension panel. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ How to get started: 1) Install the extension. 2) Open claude.ai and sign in to your account. 3) Open the extension panel and click "Refresh" if data doesn't appear right away. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Why don't the indicators sometimes show models? Claude.ai doesn't provide per-model breakdown for all subscription plans. If the models tab is empty — this is a Claude limitation, not the extension's. Why didn't the data update right after installation? The extension reads data from Claude.ai with each new message. Open Claude.ai, send any message, and click "Refresh" in the extension panel. Is Claude Team and Enterprise supported? Yes, the extension works with any subscription plan. The level of limit detail depends on what data Claude.ai provides for your specific plan. Can I turn off the floating bars? Yes, there's a separate toggle for floating bars in the extension settings (gear icon). What happens when the limit runs out? The extension will send a notification (if configured) and show the indicator at 100%. Claude itself will restrict new messages — the extension just helps you see this in advance. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT'S NEW IN V0.0.0.2 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Floating usage bars Two indicators — session and week — now appear directly on the Claude.ai page. No need to open the extension to check the limit. Can be pinned to the message input area or the top edge of the page. Enabled in extension settings. Auto-update after each message Stats sync automatically 1.5 seconds after sending a message — no waiting for the next cycle. Fable model support Claude's new model added to all UI elements: sidebar, popup, per-model breakdown. Live community stats When are Claude's peak load times? Which plan is used most? All extension users together form a live portrait of the Claude audience — in real time. See it at: https://claude.usagedashboard.net/claude_usage_statistic Bug fixes Fixed a bug where the weekly usage bar could get stuck at 100% after a temporary session limit. Fixed day labels in the community statistics heatmap left column being misaligned with their rows. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Privacy: • Personal data is not collected or transmitted. • Your conversations with Claude are not read or recorded. • Anonymous aggregated usage statistics (plan, load, activity time) are sent to an analytics server without any link to an account or identity. Notes: • Availability of per-model breakdown depends on the subscription plan and data available in Claude.ai. • This extension is not a product of Anthropic and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
