Reset alerts: get a banner when your 5-hour or weekly limit resets. Alerts can appear on claude.ai or, with optional permission, any website. - Language support: the overlay, popup, and settings are now available in English, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, and Simplified Chinese. Translations may not always be exact. - Hover to refresh: hovering over the usage bar or context indicator fetches current numbers. Refreshed extension icons and a reorganized settings panel. Bug fixes: - Fixed new conversations sometimes starting at 1% context usage instead of 0%. - Fixed the usage overlay appearing in the wrong position or disappearing after Claude navigation and composer updates. - Fixed the overlay overlapping Cowork controls. - Fixed stale usage and context values persisting until a message was sent. - Fixed multiline saved prompts losing their line breaks when inserted. - Fixed context usage being calculated against a hard-coded 200K limit on models with larger windows. - Fixed unused 5-hour sessions showing an incorrect reset state. - Fixed weekly projections becoming too optimistic during weekends, off-hours, or heavy Claude Code usage. Claude Usage Bar is privacy-first. It uses your existing logged-in Claude browser session to read usage information on claude.ai, but it does not store your prompts, responses, cookies, auth headers, or raw Claude API payloads. It does not send your conversation text to anyone and doesn't have access to connections outside what your claude page provides. Settings, sanitized usage metadata, and numeric token or context estimates stay in your local browser storage. You have easy access to your stored data and how to delete it.
