Overview
Download your Claude.ai conversations and project files to your own disk in Markdown, JSON, plain text, or a ZIP.
Claude Downloader saves your Claude.ai conversations and project files out of the browser and onto your own disk: in your own browser session, with nothing uploaded to any third party. Download the conversation you're reading with one click, or bulk-download your whole history (optionally filtered) as a ZIP. Choose JSON for a complete data dump, Markdown for something readable, or plain text for pasting elsewhere. Artifacts (code blocks, documents, and the like) can be pulled out as their own files, kept inline, or skipped. A dedicated browse page lets you search, filter, and sort every conversation you have. It also downloads Claude projects: their files, their conversations, or both together in a single ZIP, organized into files/, conversations/, and an EXPORT-NOTES.txt summary. Individual project files can be downloaded one at a time. Where Claude only kept a document as extracted text, the download flags it so you know the original formatting didn't make the trip. The extension only ever talks to claude.ai, using the session you're already logged into. No telemetry, no analytics, no server. See the privacy policy for specifics. Claude Downloader is an independent tool; "Claude" is a product of Anthropic.
